PhD student in the biomembrane physics research area. A main part of my work is to derive volume distributions of quasi-molecular fragments of a lipid bilayer, from which we will be able to deduce structural and elastic details of certain domains (membrane thickness, area per lipid, etc.) as well as some information regarding the lipid composition of the domains. This will allow us to characterize the physical properties of Lo and Ld domains as a function of temperature, without the need to map the complete compositional space of the system.
