Dear all,
We would
like to announce our symposium:
“Microfluidics for X-ray Nanoanalytics”
to be held at the IBN Centre of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Graz, Austria, from 13th – 14th February, 2008.
Our MICROFLUIDICS
symposium was a felicitous scientific event well-documented by numerous fotos

The progress in technology of fabricating microfluidic devices has triggered various applications in the field of X-ray sciences in the laboratory as well as at synchrotron centres. The current development of nanometer-scaled sized X-ray beams and new manufacturing processes for microfluidics will open challenging experimental opportunities for X-ray analytics, which will stimulate the all fields from proteomics, high throughput screening till ultra-fast chemical reactions.
In this symposium we want
to bring together the three different key players of microfluidics in
X-ray nanoanalytics that are usually separated into different communities:
-methodologists
The meeting is kept very
informal with sufficient time to exchange ideas, to have discussions
among the participants and should be understood also as a platform to
discuss visionary aspects. It should also give an insight into the state
of the art, which is of interest for industrial attendees from pharmacy,
chemistry or biotechnology. |
