The Sportheim Planneralm belongs to the Universitäts-Sportinstitut (USI) and has proven to be a perfect spot for the NESY Winterschools. It features a lecture room, several working rooms and a gymnasium.
The surroundings are one the most genuine winter ressorts in the Austrian Alps and offer excellent possibilities for downhill and crosscountry skiing, snowboarding and all other sorts of wintersport activities.
The afternoons are lecture free so there is plenty of time to explore and enjoy the area. So do not forget to pack your wintersport gear!
Check the timetables of the ÖBB to find a suitable train to the station Stainach/Irdning.
Take the A9 until Liezen, follow the Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B320/E651) to Schladming/Salzburg until Stainach, then take the B75 left to Donnersbach and up to the Planneralm. Make sure your car is winterfit and equipped with snow chains.
