Research Interests
I am engaged in the biomembrane group (Karl Lohner) studying the effects of antimicrobial peptides and lipopeptides on liposomes to elucidate the mechanism of action of the peptides on bacterial membranes.
Techniques used are mainly x-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry.
